The mysterious gathering

Every year, a mysterious phenomenon occurs on Planet MRCX. The Cailloux, coming from all corners of the planet, all converge to the same place at the same time. This location, surrounded by clay mountains, seems to exert an inexplicable attraction on them. Why do they choose this specific moment and unique place to gather? The mystery remains unsolved.

The clay bath ritual

The clay bath, at the heart of this annual ritual, is composed of clay rich in minerals such as calcium, iron, and magnesium. These elements, combined with the water naturally present on the planet, form a dense and nutrient-rich mud. The Cailloux dive into this bath one by one, briefly disappearing beneath the surface before emerging covered with a new layer of clay. This process seems essential to their growth.

Clay layers

The layers of clay covering the Cailloux offer fascinating clues about their history. Each layer appears to correspond to an annual bath, forming visible stratification. By analyzing them, it might be possible to estimate their age and better understand their way of life.
